 Life is a journey.

Where will your interests, abilities,

and motivation take you?

Congratulations!
Today is your day.
You are off to great places.
You are off and away.
You have brains in your head
And feet in your shoes.
YOU can steer yourself
Any direction YOU CHOOSE!

---Dr. Seuss "Oh, The Places You Will Go"

Here are some things that I assist students with:

  • Schedule Changes and Academic Progress

  • Self-Understanding (e.g. how interests, values, skills and personality align with careers)

  • Career Exploration (there are many more occupations than students are aware of)

  • Learning About Education and Training Options (short term training, military, two year colleges, four year colleges, and apprenticeships)

  • Planning and Preparations (e.g. meeting graduation requirements, college/financial aid/scholarship applications, ACT testing, setting up college visits, CIS/Infinity/PSEO)

  • Work-Based and Experiential Learning (e.g. job shadows, internships, career presenters/field trips)

  • Work-Place Readiness (e.g. job searches, cover letters, resumes, mock interviews)
